It probably has a lot to do with the fact that you've loosened up a ton of gunk and crap in the motor. Best bet is to do an oil change a hundred miles or so after the Sea Foam treatment. Changing the fuel filter wouldnt hurt either, and like mentioned above, its pretty straight forward.
