Default Spoon ECU

I have a 98 civic ex VTEC, and i was wondering about changing the ecu to the spoon obd1 ecu.....will it damage my motor? i was planning to upgrade my cam, should i do that before or after the ecu upgrade? i have 120 000 miles on the engine, will that make a difference? I wanna know any precautionary steps before upgrading anything on the car

I have a chipped ECU and tried the Spoon Sports chip. I got some nice gains. I dont' foresee any problems with it if your motor is in good working order. The more mods you have the better gains you will get from the chip.

You are gonna need a OBD-2 to 1 conversion harness.
