Default srs light

i have a 98 ex d16y8 civic. about a year ago my srs light came on i don't know y and didn't really care at the time. now i want it off! i jumped the two wires near my ecu to see what the code was. 21 with the passenger air bag dissconected. so i jumped the passenger air bag wires and it came up with 23. in between all the checks i would disconnect the batery and remove the back up fuse. i have a hanes but it dosen't give me anything about the srs code. soon i want the bags out all together. any help would be great

Default RE: srs light

the only way to get rid of that light (especially if you ARE going to dissconnect the airbags) is to clip the LED light, now I have my drivers side airbag removed, the seatbelts in the rear and the drivers side removed, this summer I'm gonna be working on a way to "fool" the ECU into thinking that everything is connected. Until then if you don't wanna mess with your dash wirings, put a piece of electrical tape over the SRS.
