i'm converting my crappy d16y7 mani to a y8. i just got my y8 mani yesterday and i was takin it apart to get ready for the swap. i was wondering if the y8 fuel rail flowed better than the y7 rail. i thought this for 2 reasons: it is bigger than the y7 rail (bigger OD=bigger ID), and people say that the stock y8 injectors run richer than the y7s---> so the fuel rail on the y8 would flow better for the higher flowing y8 injectors. if anyone knows anything about this or has any input, feel free. i wouldn't be surprised though if there was no difference.

the fuel rail is the same, the reason the the Y8 dumps more fuel is because it has 50cc larger injectors

 

yeah the y7 injectors are 190cc's i think and the y8's are 240cc
