Well... I have SEEN for myself TWO gas stations get shut down due to Cars could NOT start up after they full their tanks up. After police investigated the owner of the gas station admits to putting up to 60 gallons of water into their gas well.

when my brother used to have an 91 nissan sentra he went to a local gas station and they had water in there gas to make a long story short in 3 day the engine was f**k and stop working. he couldnt prove tht it was there gas tht caused it so there was nothing really he could have done. so yes some gas station do put water in there gas. thts what i only use Shell or Cheveron and not those local vendor gas stations

You guys are blowing this way out of proportion. reaper even said (correctly) that condensation builds up in your gas tank. Unless I see some chemical testing that shows H2O mixed with gasoline, I'm going to continue to disbelieve this.

Finally a link of 'proof'. What do those percentages pertain to? Amount of stations in Detroit who put things other than gasoline in their tanks?

That really doesn't tell me who puts water in theirgasoline - or sell 87 octane as 91 octane, etc. That just shows the percentage of stations which violate laws, but doesn't state how.
