ok so my friend has a 91 si hatch he has a y7 with a y8 head he wants to know how to convert it to ob1. because i know the head is obd2 and i dont think they made obd1 in the early 90's. he wants to know what distributor he needs.?? if you guys can help us out that would be great.

 

he will need a distributor out of a y8 cuz thats the head thats on it. no they didnt make obd1 untill 92

 

you need the obd1 distributor wiring harness, a P28 ecu, and an obd2 to obd1 ecu conversion wiring harness. i'm not sure what else you need.
