I still dont think it would work, and it would serve no purpose.

why wouldnt it work? it just lets the car run a preset amount of time, then shuts off. and it would do no real good.

Yeah, it would work fine. Is all a turbo timer is, is a timed realy. It keeps all of the ignition wires powered up for a certain amount of time. I have made my own turbo timers before.

My dad bought a new F350 6.0L turbo diesel and it has a piston system that injects the oil throught the turbo after shutdown. Not exactly sure how it works but he was telling me about it. Pretty sweet IMO

Interesting. I'm gonna try to find some more info on that. Sounds pretty cool.

it's a standard feature on the ford diesels so you shouldnt have much of a problem finding it.
