userfriendly ECU
I suggest putting a standalone ECU off until you would have use for one. Even I/H/E TB/IM don't require a standalone, if you were going to do headwork and get a stage 2 cam put in then yeah ok I can see a standalone, but until that time it's not worth the $2k+. You also have OBD2 so that doesn't leave you with many options unless you convert to OBD1. AEM EMS is the best for OBD2. <-- Personal opinion.
thinking of goin turbo after all the nice folks in the forums here got me jazzed up about it. i was planning on spending that much on my truck on a lift kit anyway, but the civic crushed that dream and replaced it.
AEM EMS is the best out there and the most expensive. if u are going with a crazy turbo setup and shooting for high boost 20+ then i would get it but if you are just going to run normal boost pressures like 7-12 and have an OBD1 then i would just chip ur ecu and have it tuned with crome, neptune etc. just my $.02.
