valvoline max life?
its getting about time for my oil change, and i figured "148,xxx miles, prolly should get some max life....its not the cheapest, nor the most expensive, cant go wrong..." bought it, got home and my grandpa told me i should take it back because he used it in his ranger (with 185,xxx mi. on it) and it made it leak/burn oil real bad....i was just wondering if this is a trend with the oil or if its just some random occurance with his ancient truck.... any answers would be great.
so even if it doesnt work like it says, (reconditions seals and stuff) is it going to hurt my enigne...which, if it was spring or summer i wouldnt care, because i would just get a new motor and build it...but since its cold, and my truck has no heat or radio (worth listing to) id like to keep my honda running for now.
acctually, it will still run, its a honda...trust me...my car used to be my moms, i keept telling her to get her oil changed, and she waited till the matnince light (not really a light) turned red for like 1,000 miles, finally got it done, and the shop said when they opend the drain plug, nothing came out.....so now im deathly **** about my *lube jobs* lol
but thank you for the answers.. i didnt think that it would but i just wanted to make sure...
