well, i just got a 2000 civic si and it doesnt even have a remote keyless entry. so, i have decided on the viper 5000 ( i think ) i want a really good alarm system and it looks pretty good to me. does anybody have one installed or know anything about them? what all does it come with built in? and how much did you pay to get it installed? please help !

 

I HAVE IT!!! It treats me like a champ. The distance on the feedback can vary due to buildings and the like, but for right outside of your house, in the movies, and stuff it works great. This website lists the options it has. You won't be able to have the remote start (officially) though due to your manual transmission. It cost me $423 installed. I'm down in the expensive lands of So Cal so it might be cheaper for where you're at. Good luck with everything. I highly recommend.

 

If its viper you pretty much cant go wrong.

i think that is all of the questions i have about it right now. if i decide to get an alarm i will get VIPER i know that. i just liked the 5000.
