vtec head...

Default vtec head...

if i swap a vtec head on a non-vtec car...do i need a new ecu?...im swapping a z6 head onto a y7 block....if i do which ecu would i need?

Not sure, but you might get away with your current ECU and a VTEC controller...or get an EX ECU and wire-up for VTEC

Im not sure, but I think you need to get the 92-95 civic ECU, it will activate the vtec. Z6 is OBD 1. What year's your car?

To be totally honest, I've never swaped heads before, you'd be better off PM'ing Sacicons or Kappa, they'll know for sure.
