Well, I finally killed my trans and I was wondering if a 88 will fit in there (Ive got an 87). The reason I ask is that I never see any '87s around and I see tons of the next gen body style, so itd make things much easier if it would fit.

What engine does your 87 have? Off the top of my head, I don't think it'll fit right (I think the bellhousing patterns are different).
