bout to do a engine swap in my 91 hb what's the best swap for my ride? i'm just going to do basic bolt-on and a mild p&p

Either the Integra LS(B18A1) or the SiR CRX(B16A).

if you don't want to spend too much money find a sohc vtec like a d16z6 or d16y8, they are pretty common engines and prices are cheap. and they have decent aftermarket support

Doesn't get cheaper or easier than a DOHC ZC. After that, you might as well skip the Y8 or Z6 and just move on to an LS or SIR-I (as mentioned).
