im buying a 92 4 door for 200 bucks, it has a bad motor, i have a 89 d15b2 and im wondering if i can use my block with that head and such, also will my trany drop in to that car while using the 92s axles???the 92 is a d15b7

 

im not sure what motor that is ( dont mess with the older ones that much) but if your 89 motor is fuel injected it will work but you will have to use the 92 distributor,injectors and the engine harness from the 92
but i know you cant use the 89 transmission that is a cable tranny and the 92 is hydro so if you want to use yours you will have to get a hasport bracket that is really high and not worth it

 

the 92s a auto and i want to convert it to 5 spd, if possible id use the 5spd out of my 89 and the block from the 89 with the head and fuel injection from the 92, will my block and tranny drop in?which axles will i need to use?will my normal linkage from the 89 work with the 92?is the clutch cable long enough?
