Default b18c1 swap in to 92 civic cx

Hi guys, I just recently purchased an 01 b18c1 and I want to swap it into my 92 civic cx hatch. I have the engine, tranny, sensors, and radiator. I dont have an ecu for it, so would I be able to use a JDM obd1 ecu and just plug all the connectors in and add the vtec wiring for the solenoid, etc or would I need to use a US ecu for the connectors to plug in. Also what else would I need if I am planning on doing this myself. I also have the half shalf and intermediate shaft. I plan on purchasing an complete engine hoist from checkers which runs at 186.00 and just trash the d15y8. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thanks

P.S.
Is this link all I would need to follow to successfully complete the swap?:

For the ECU you should run a P72(usdm) and to wire vtec you need a pin out of the plugs and match them to the to the three wires from the vtec solenoid and because its an eg you can just drop it in with stock mounts. Good luck with it though.

you can use any obd1 p72 usdm or jdm (plugs are the same) u will need the integra stock mounts for it to work, also you will need obd1 distributor, and integra radiator hose's,sence you car is a 92 you will not have to pin to your ecu just find the vtec wires at the firewall here's a link that will help http://honda-tech.com/zerothread/1171263

Alright all the info above is correct for swaping in your GSR engine in, except for the fact of since you have a CX, you will not have the VTEC wiring in your car, you will have to run the three wires from the engine back to the ECU plugs themselves, only the DX and above have the VTEC wires run. I found this out the hard way. It is not much harder to run the wires that little bit of distance, and you will enjoy that swap so much in that little light car. Take care and enjoy, and remember that the work is a pain in the a**, but the outcome makes it well worth it.
