B20b what is a good head to put on it

Default B20b what is a good head to put on it

I have a b20b in a 93 eg it has ported polished head with crower cam cam gears resurfaced head i was thinking about a gsr head on it anyone have any input

From what I have been told, a B16 head will create more compression than a GSR, so it would technically be better. It sounds like you have some money in the b20 head, why are you getting rid of it?

its mbrents old car, he just got it.

only the b20 head bolts right up to the b20 block, if you want to put the gsr head that mbrent gave you on it, you will have to have the gsr head machine and drilled to oil port match. also all the work on the b20 head (cams and etc) will not fit on the gsr head. i'd say just sell the stuff and keep the motor the way it is.

if you still wanna do it google frankenstien swap
