Default civic hatch swap advice

Say, I got a 95 civic hatchback cx and I want to put a b18b1 in it. Can I use my old 5 speed, or must I us another tranny?

The D-series tranny won't fit onto the new motor. You have to get a B-series.

I have done the same thing with 92 EG HB with a B18B1... You need to mod you OBD1 harness.. you need a b series trany.. you need the axles... you need the ecu OBD1... you need the shift linkage... you need change fuel injectors to OBD1 and change the distridbutor to OBD1 and the alternator to OBD1.. other than that it is easy.. if you have people to join you its quick... i would not say to it by yourself unless to have a full shop...
