Default d16z6 to b18b1?

so i thought about maybe buying a b18b1 engine its 100 dollars id need to get a tranny hopefully ls? and i need an exhaust manifold the engine has one low compression in one of the cylinders thinks the ring in the cylinder is bad i need ur opinion worth the time and money or no?

do u have any mechanical experience and a place to work on the car? by the time you complete the swap, u could have turbo'd your current setup and made roughly the same power. methinks if i had a single cam vtec, i would be turboing it, cuz when i blow it up, a d shortblock is easier to come by, and a bit cheaper too (in north alabama). if u had a crappy nonvtec d, i would say swap it. d16a1 FTL.

i thought of the turbo idea and i think im gunna try nd do that this summer, to and my mechanical work isnt that great but my dads is really good (not to try and make it sound like im jus relying on him) but thanks for the help
