Default To do or not to do

Well.. I was at RockFalls this weekend and ran a 17.69 at 79mph in my stock 92 HB with the D15B7 only mods exhaust and intake.. I could have done better but engine bogged hard core in 1st.. so on my 3 time trail i stage.. ready.. set... pop the clutch and no go... seems to be my pressure plate has gone very bad.. so... after wandering around... i found a guy with a B18A1 for 600 with tranny.. and i am thinking.. its about 600 for good clutch and shop time.... or 600 for b18... hmmm.... i would like to see the posts about this decidtion...

But you never know whats wrong with the B18 unless its still in the car running and hes willing to take it out for you. It could be super f***** up, you know? You may have to spend over a G fixing the B18 and thats not worth it! I would just get the clutch fixed. $600 sounds like a unreliable engine, especially the B18. They go for like $0000 on the net and thats from a company who purchases them from over seas and cleans them up and s***. your choice.
