You wouldnt wanna use your tranny no, for the H youd need mounts, axles, cable trans linkage that you have to put through the firewall. harness. For the B you need hydro tranny linkage, axles, harness. i think thats right, I may be missing some stuff. b18 is a sweet engine for boost if you get some low comp pistons, the h is a no boost engine, youd have to go NA unless you got it sleeved

the H22a is going to be a better value swap. that said, its going to be kinda tight underneath the hood.

www.streetimports.com offers turnkey JDM swaps.

make sure you get the axles, wiring harness, tranny and ecu (just in case) off the donor car. and then you'll need aftermarket motormounts like those from Hasport, but theyre others out there that are a lot cheaper.

Hey guys, well this weekend i had the wonderful oportunity to have either my head crack or my head gaskets leak on my 1994 civic dx coupe.[:@] so i was thinking of just swaping the motor. what would be a nice motor to put in it? i was thinking maybe a h22 but i would have to swap so many things on it. Also cash is limited (damn it sucks being a student) oh and when i say limited... that means i'll have to get another loan it get it fixed anyways.

swapping engines aint cheap either way.

get the most motor for your money.

you can get used H, D and possibly even a B series engine for a few hundred if you search hard enough. but you still have to pay for labor, plus accesorries such as axles, motor mounts, blah, blah, blah.
