help h22 swap

RE: help h22 swap
depends on the junkyard. a couple of hundred if the jankyard doesn't comprehend what they have on their hands, as far as honda engines.
if they do, expect to pay upwards of $500 or more. you may or may not need the tranny as well.
try to also get the uncut wiring harness and ecu if you can.

awsome site for JDM H22a swap w/LSD tranny, full swap w/new axels, and motor mounts thats fit for your car. Sweet deal, its what im doing in my 4door eg :-) I called the guy and their very nice as well, and make it as easy as possible for you, direct swap they said. Only, thing is get shiftlinkage and shifter if possible. They said everyonce in a wihle they get the shiftlinkage and all in when they get the motor and stuff and they said if they had one they'd throw it in for free. But here's the site. http://www.streetimports.com/product_details.asp?id=953

RE: help h22 swap
$500 for a used b or h series engine seems way low.. u will need on b series motor mounts engine tranny axles shift linkage.I suggest buying gsr axles from your local autozone brand new they warranty them for life to so if they break u can swap them for free. i heard h22 is harder to do cause of the mounts is that true.. www.hmotorsonline.com for good quality jdm engine swaps

the H22a is going to be a better value swap. that said, its going to be kinda tight underneath the hood.
www.streetimports.com offers turnkey JDM swaps.
make sure you get the axles, wiring harness, tranny and ecu (just in case) off the donor car. and then you'll need aftermarket motormounts like those from Hasport, but theyre others out there that are a lot cheaper.
