Okay, I have a 1993 Hatch with a 97 LS swap and a 95 LS ecu and the speedometer and odometer are not working. I am pretty sure the cluster has been swapped out and wonder if you all could give me a direction to go in to find out what the problem is. I almost bought the vehicle speed sensor yesterday, but thought I would ask before I spend the money on it. Is there anything I can look at on the engine wiring harness to be sure it is correct or something is not missing and needed, etc?

if its not a bad wire (check the ground wire too), then its probably the sensor. do you have a friend with one that you could borrow? (should be an OBD2 donor)
