Default H22 Type S

Ok, guys I want to swap an h22 into an eg hatch. I'm looking at the H22 Type S which is obd2, I was wondering if the type s would be harder to swap into the eg or almost the same difficulty compared to the obd1 h22. This is going to be daily driven so I don't want to build it drastically, just a little here and there so it would still pass California smog laws. Any info would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

Default RE: H22 Type S

OBD1 would be easier, but make sure the motor is the same year or newer than the car. and USDM is a lot easier too.
