Hey guys, quick question i just bought a 2000 civic ex and i want to do a swap I was thinking k20 but i won't be driving the car for long I just want to make it FUN So what B series engine would be a easy swap that I can use my motor mounts and not have to do a tranny swap too, Thanks in advance.

 

All B series motors are pretty much the sane as far as fitment. gsr b18c1 would be the easiest vtec motor to source IMO

 

I have a 2000 ex civic project car and was gonna do a j swap but the more I looked at it. I can get plenty of power out of the d16 that's in it. Im doing a full rebuild with cam shaft and forged piston etc. for less money than it would take to do a swap. My advice is work with what you have to make it more fun
