b16b swap

b16b swap
i have a 96 civic ex and i am thinking about doing a swap with b16b, keep in mind that i am not that familiar with imports as far as engines. now from the little research i did the b16b would be the easiest swap as far as fitting with no problems except for changing the mounts.
now my question is what other replacements such as ecu wiring a/c etc. that i would need to know about?
oo and i have a automatic transmission and i would like to keep it automatic so what transmission can should i get and where can i get it?
thanks

Ok if you get a B16 from a 99-00 chassy it will bolt right into your 96 Ex. Most JDM engine swaps come with everything you need motor, head, wiring harness, ecu, axles, shift linkage, motor mounts and brackets. A B16 from 92-00 will be able to take the D16 AC and PS so you dont need to worry about that. You need the B16 shifter linkage and rear motor mount T bracket. If you get your motor from a good supplier it should come with all this. You will use the stock civic's harness, the one that was on the D16. No need to wire for anything just plug it all in to the B16. As for keeping the auto I wouldnt suggest it. There is more wiring involved plus you will already have a B16 MT. But if you want to do it you will need a 94-01 Integra auto tranny and the ECU for that car. B16 MT will not run the AT. To do the MT swap you will need clutch pedal, master cylinder, any lines that dont come with the B16 tranny and MT brake pedal. Hope that helps.
