so the trans is goin out on my d16 i really would like to go to a B series motor and im looking for alittle help. from what i have found my current trans will not work with anything but another d series, which makes me sad becouse i found a b18b motor but no trans fro 450, correct me if im wrong on that PLZ. i also have found a jdm b16b motor and trans without axles and a h22a with trans and axles both are around 1500 and i have no idea which one would be better or easier to install. suggestions greatly appreciated

 

it really depends on what you're using the car for. Is it a daily driver? Or a fun project car? What are your time requirements? does this need to be done soon so you can drive to work? Or do you have some money to play around with?

B18>B16<H22

they're all good motors, in their own respects. They'll all make better power than your D16.

Oh, and NO your d series transmission won't work with a B series motor.
