Now, this will be my first engine swap ever. Now im not sure what all I will need to do the full swap. Im getting the engine from sunrisejdmmotors. Do I need the wiring harness? Also im not sure which motor mounts to get?

**Also, is it better to swap a 3rd gen B16 into a 96 EX or is it safe to go with the 2nd gen? The 2nd gen comes with the wiring harness and ECU so I just swap them out and ill be fine right? Reason im asking is the 2nd gen is OBD1 right?

the 2nd gen is fine, thats what im doin it should come with a hydro trans which is good, but u need a boomslang jumper harness to convert ur car from obd2 to obd1 and then ull need the p30 ecu and wiring harness to go with that motor...

 

o ya u need an si rear mount, and an ac bracket off a dohc del sol, and a dohc del sol half shaft

 

So I get a shaft for a 95 del sol and not a 99 SI? Also, do I need to get a different rack and pinion? Im ordering my engine fron sunrise jdm motors, I heard they were good and I hope thats true. Anyway, it says it comes with the ECU and wiring harness. Will I need any other mounts other than the rear one? Thanks.
