Default Intake Manifold

i have a d16y7 motor w? manual trans, im trying to put a intake manifold, i heard the 99-00 ex intake manifold was the one to get... do i need the manual trans or the auto? or does it matter?

u could get the intake manifold off of a auto or a manual tranny. It doesnt matter. But instead of doing that, just get a Skunk 2 intake manifold, cuz it's almost the same price as the 99-00 manifold, unless ur getting it used from some where

It's the 96-00 manifold and you can find them for 1/4 of the price of the Skunk2. It's the best OEM D series mani. Some compare it to the Type-R manifold... not that I have ever fondled a Type-R mani though.

Get yourself a B series throttle body too and port match the mani to it.

Dont get the skunk tb Im having issues with it. Throttle keeps getting stuck.

That and I already had 2 mechanics look at it already.

Thanks again... i heard the 99-00 was automatic one was the one to get becuase of the sensor connections and also... what b series should i get the tb from
