I'm thinking about doing a swap, the d16 just ain't cuttin' it. I know i could build and turbo and save the sohc, but I like the idea of a swap. How difficult would it be to put a K20(not type s) in. (money is and issue)

unless you're dropping in the K20a (Type S motor) there's not much advantage of dropping in a K20, which only has 160 hp in base form).

that's not much of a bump in hp for the kind of money youre going to shell out.

you may be better off searching for a used b16 or b18 motor instead. Ive seen some as low as $500, on some boards.

but you'll have to buy other stuff, such as motor mounts, which can get pricey.
