my goal is to get a k24 into a 4th gen. civic hatchback. but there are many things i don't really kno bout this. i read somewhere that it has an electronic throttle, and it will cause a problem. k24 in my opinion, is much stronger and better than the b18's and h22's. 2.4lL and has more torque than the others. a turbo will bring out the full potential of the k24. if u got any input plz tell me.

oh yea, wat about a sentra spec-v engine into a 4th gen. civic hatch? is there any engine mounts out there for this engine?

 

Im sure you could do the K24 with some modding to the bay. Id take the K20 out of a type R over the K20 though IMO.


Also think the H22 has more potential then the Nissan motor.

 

The K24 is a TSX engine not a nissan motor.

The K24 offers it's own little things that make it a pain in the *** on top of the crap it takes to get a k20 in our civic's.The K24 offers a "drive by wire" system which pretty much makes all your throttle,brake,and other normal mechanical stuff be operated by electronics(hence the "drive by wire")

Can it be done...yes with a K20A intake manifold,ecu,and wiring harness.But it is highly advised you swap to a K20 head and transmission also.

The K24/K20 hybrid is known for good tq numbers and should set you around 240hp and 200+ tq
