Well im going to purchace a 99 civic lx here soon the thing seems a bit slow and I know there has to be a way to meake it faster so.... what engines go into this car? I have no idea what the honda engine codes mean so be gentle eh? Also I looked into some forced induction but I think that can wait, just want to hear about some motor swaps. Thanks all, Nick

[sm=welcomesign.gif] to HCF. [sm=groupwave.gif][sm=groupwave.gif][sm=groupwave.gif]

You could stay with a cheaper engine swap and do the B16A2 (160HP), a bit more money for a B18C1 (170HP), or a more pricey swap and more HP, which is the B18C5 (195HP).

or you could spend some money get a h22(190-200) hp or just make urself a homemade turbo and put it on your stock engine and you will have a pretty fast car http://www.homemadeturbo.com/
