Default Newbie Question

What's up. As you guys can see I'm new. I have a couple of quick questions. I have a 98 LX 4 door sedan with the automatic. It's also non-vtec. This thing is crazy slow. I have been looking at a few posts and I'm kinda confused. First off, what's a mini-me? I want to change to something with a little more punch. I don't want to build the fastest Honda out there. I just want something that's gonna be pretty easy to install and with a reasonable amount of power. Thanks.

I just done a mini me. It is a vtec head on a none vtec block. Mine was a d15 block and a d16 head. You well also have to have a vtec ecu also.

a mini-me is a good place to start. i was originally going to do one and decided to save up for a 3rd Gen B16 powerplant instead. mini-me is a hella lot cheaper though and produces decent HP for a civic. if u do decide mini-me and are going to get the d16z6 cylinder head lemme know. i'll hook ya up with a obd2 to obd1 conversion harness.
