i noe wht u mean i dont lyk to trust parts for a car tht could kill ur car ill just build my own lil by lil. will i need to get a new ECU or anything. also my car auto so anything i need speacial for tht. i plan on doing a manual swap as well

If you are doing a swap then don't worry about the auto. And yes, you will need some kind of fuel management.

i think wht im going to do is a manual swap thn just turbo my D16 i think thts the cheaoer way to go and thn ill get new psitons rings cam gear ect.

Rods are the weakest link, but if you open the motor up once, you might as well do everything at once.

thts wht i mean ill turbo it and set the settings on low so the turbo wont push the engine to hard and thn whn i get the money for new internals ill replace any part tht will help the engine last longer and run better.

wht would i have to do with my ECU whn i get the trubo. and also do i need to get it reconfigured for a manual swap???

I'm not the person to ask about reconfiguration for the manual swap... I've never dealt with that on a civic, but I have dealt with other vehicles.

But do a search on fuel management and you'll find tons of info.

i was also thinkn tht i could do an engine swap along with the manual swap and thn turbo tht engine. a lil more money but im sure u would get better numbers

any1 tht has done a B16/18/20 swap into an EK please let me know how much u paid for the engine, whether or not u did it urself, any improvments on preformance, does it respond well to a turbo? etc...

any info would b apreciated. thanks

B18c1 t3/t4 turbo into a 96 civic ex. Last street tune i had done at 10.5 psi laid down 314 at the wheels. 13.28 in the 1/4. I paid $2900 for the swap and had another $1000 in improvements on it. Then I had another 2500 in the turbo set up.
