and this: will it work cuz i have LX and not the EX which is VTEC

 

A stage 2 cam will require some kind of engine/fuel management (more than an SAFC-II or VAFC-II or the likes) your're looking at least a Greddy E-manage to support a stage 2 cam. Even then it won't preform as it should with an EMS. Stick with a stage 1 unless you are looking to drop a few grand on this.

Do a head swap while you are at it. It shouldn't cost much to pick up an A2 head, maybe you can get lucky and find one at a j/y near you. Might need to pick up an A2 ECU as well. Thinking about it the VTEC cams from an A2 may affect usage in an A1...

 

so r u saying that stage 1 wont work unless i get a new A2 head and ecu? hav y done any of this on ur car?

This is what I'm saying;

the difference in cams between an A1 and an A2 might be too great to put an A2 cam in an A1 head. But if you had an A2 head there would be no problem. I have an EX so I won't be doing a head swap and top and bottom end are planned for next summer.

its so much more money to do stuff on LX/DX and to like catch up cuz EX has more hp to start with ya kno? well thanks for the help ill look into it
