4000rpm .. engine makes dead spaces or waters like i put neutral
I own a new Honda Civic sedan, 1400cc of 2005.
I have run 800km till now and i see something strange at my
engine when i speed up with low gears.
When i have put 2nd or 3rd gear and the engine runs at
4000rpm and up, i see that it makes something like "waters"
or "spaces" the engine.. i feel it like i have put the Neutral
for a couple seconds ..
The same happend with 4th and 5th gear.
Also i have seen that even if the road has a small percent of
grade the engine loses a lot of its power.
I say a lot of its power because i compare with my Toyota Corola
Sedan 1300cc of 1994 car and it seems that it has a lot of much
power from my new Honda Civic 1400cc of 2005 and it does not
make this "dead spaces" as i feel them up from 4000rpm.
I wonder if this happens because the engine is still new (800km).
If someone know, please inform me because i already worry a much
about this.
Thanks guys..

If it's an 05 take it to the dealer. If it isn't running right, they should make sure it does. I wouldn't be trying to troubleshoot a brand new car, I would expect Honda to do that.
