'93 Civic LX Engine Swap
If you want something fast i would go with a B-series engine. I am considering doing a swap for my 93 civic DX. Good choices are B18C1-178 HP,B18C3- 195 HP,and B18C5- 195HP. they can cost high tho. Another good alternative is the B16A-160 HP. or try using a B16 block with a B18 head. strong engine which should handle boost well. I'm in the same boat as you and am trying to do a swap. I've been doing a lot of research
If you feel like really going over the top, there's always the option of the K24 from the RSX Type-S, but that requires quite a bit of shopping for special parts...
...but either way having a titanic engine in a small car is always lunacy...
...and yes, I'm the Jeremy Clarkson type person that always adds "MORE POWER!!!"

thanks for the tips, a lot of info and research to be done. but i appreciate all the input. I wanna start a new post please check it out. i would like as many people's input as possible!
I am doing engine swap into my 93 civic lx as well, i thought Id let you know that i am going to go with a b18b block and a v-tec head off of a b16. This allows you to have a b18 v-tec with lots of power. If you want more than 200 horses than i would suggjest sleaving the block. this give alot more strength to the cylinder walls, it will be able to handle closer to the 500 horsepower range then. The v-tec head is not very hard to wire, if you want touse this headI will walk you through it. Good luck man.
