How much money do you have? How much experience do yo have? How much power do you want to end up with?

Modding a motor can reduce it's life, if not done properly that is.

Eh...185,000 miles is a lot man and thats getting near the end of that motors life...i mean honda motors last for like 200,000 miles or more usually but still unless u have money for a motor swap just Keep up with maintenance and u might be able to get way more than 200k on her

But if ur wanting to make that a project car built for more power and not a dd ur definitely gonna wanna do a engine swap. But like Cvcrcr was askin...give us some more info on the car so that more people can help ya

I have 175,000 miles on my engine and it's still running very strong...
It all depends on how well you take care of it.

When modding your engine, you just have to know your engine's limits and pick your power goals accordingly. Then make sure you only use reliable parts and if you do something that requires a tune, make sure you get one. If you neglect your engine it will neglect you. Take care of it properly, do your research, and take proper precautions and the engine will continue to run well.
