i have been reading a TON of articles about swapping.and what ii have gathered is a b16/b18 vtec motor is a pretty straight drop in affair. other than needing a couple basic items like new shift linkage and radiator hoses everything else is re-used. is it really that simple or am i off a little? im a newb to honda but not to swaps. 91 ford ranger w/91 5.0 and a 81 chevy luv w/350sb.

 

i have no idea what you just said at the end but it ok i dont like domestics , You pretty much got it down already now you need Shift linkage , ecu , axles ,engine ,tranny , mounts (u might wanna get them for a 99-00 si they work perfectly) and u need to extend or add a few wires to ur stock engine harness in order to run a B series engine. go to you tube and type ONE6 you should come up with a video of a shop doing a B swap into an ek hatch so u can use that as a guide and its a pretty nice video , anything else feel free to ask

 

the last part was just an me giving and ideaof knowing how to do a swap,just never on a honda.mainly putting v8's in small trucks is fun.thx for the info
