Default Acceleration

Anyone have any ideas what this could be? well, every time i try to accelerate fast, it feels as if theres something holding the engineback. It's sort of like a spark plug, wire or distributor problem, but its nto them cuz i just checked them last week and they wree replaced only in november. I thought it might be a fuel delivery problem. any ideas? i cant stand it anymore

It's probably the 1.6L. lol Can you describe whats happening better? Does it like sputter and have a rough acceleration or something like that? Has the problem been there since you replaced the spark plugs, wires, and dizzy? If so then maybe you didn't gap the spark plugs to theoem measurement?

Edit: I just thought of something, if you think its somewhere in your fuel delivery then try Sea Foam and it will clean out the system and might help some.

Bigger fuel pump, bigger injectors, fuel rail, fuel filter. I don't see why you would need any of that unless you are really building a strong n/a setup or a forced introduction system.

well i just got a sponsorship from the only car tuner shop within like 2 hrs of here. I ordered new rims and coilovers. Other than getting it painted and new tails again, im keeping it jdm. then i want to focus on the engine, so yea, what size injectors?

The size injectors you need depend on your setup and since you dont have a f/i setup then stock injectors are fine. You aren't going to see a gain from bigger ones because they are only going to inject more fuel is there is more air going into the engine and it needs more fuel.
