It boils down to this, you either want to be fast or drive a automatic. You dont see fast honda automatics not cause the driveterrain loss but because of the sloppy long paused shifts that they performe. Your average person can change gears in a manual in around a second maybe 1.25 seconds, a automatic honda transmission will shift in around 2.75 seconds which is a eternity when racing your car at all.
I am sorry but there is noway to make your car anything like a 5 speed by way of any performance catagories. Hell automatics even get less milage on gas.

im only 16 so a new car is out of the questions thanks to my parents and a manual swap is definently a NO NO with thm (and $$$). just tryn to do something alot of ppl dont do. i dont lyk following a path, i lyk to adventure

to tell the truth at 200whp with your automatic you will need to achieve 240+chp and on top of that the transmission will not last. I hope you plan on turboing cause a n/a 200whp D for one thing is nearly a race engine needing higher octane gas than what is at the pump. It is nearly immpossable with a automatic

yea kedawei u need to learn to keep ur mouth shut. some ppl cant afford to swap cars around and do ****. i have other **** and a life outside my car. unless u wana give advice thn u need to shut the hell up.
yes i am looking into turboing my engine. wht ill plan on doing is keeping the turbo and whn my car decides to die on me or somethin happens thn ill buy a used 96-00 5spd and drop it in there.
so wht all is essential for my engine to have if my gaol is 175-200whp?

The only thing lamer than an automatic transmission are the people who drive them.
