if its off a tooth, it will barely idle, and have no power. i have explained how to do the cam timing a few times here, but its kind of long, so do a quick search and you should find it. it will be in a pretty old post, its been awhile.
I've been wondering about advancing my timing for a while. I went back and searched for it but didn't really find much that was very usefull. I think we need a full DIY write-up with pictures.

The coil is gonna be fine also cuz the whole distributor is new. rememba the coil comes with the new distributor cuz it's a internal coil. The problem is not the coil either. Thanks for your input tho

so wait, its not sparking, or its not firing up? if you hold a spark plug wire with a plug in it against a ground and crank the engine, will it spark?

if the dizzy is good, then it almost has to be a wiring problem.

So i guess i have to take out my wiring harness out and look for any errors. Cuz it was working before, it just stoped ridding after 2 months later.

so it ran ok, then just stopped making spark? then it might still be the coil or the ICM. you might have gotten a bad distributor.
