you will need new motor mounts, as welll as axles. i don't know about moving stuff arround. and i know that Tyler (aryman) has one in his car. and yes it would be fine to boost, just like anyother motor, you just have to have a reasonable amount of boost or you will send rods through block

yes i have a b16 in my car, its just a basic swap out and swap in.
also the b16 is a great engine to boost, there is so much you can do with the b16. in my opinion its the best motor you can get if you wanna turbo.

only thing you need to change is the mounts...more specifically the rear mount. everything is just tear out the old and put in the new.

your goin to need the rear mount out of a 99-00 si if im not mistaken, or 94-98 teg. i know its one or the other im not sure... but throw 10 psi on a vafc hack with 450cc dsm inj. and you'll have all the fun you'll need....

another word o fadvice.. look into an aftermarket clutch also if you plan on boosting that engine

I think you'll need the transmission mounts also. Not sure.

assuming that you are buying the complete swap, these are the only things you need:

99-00 si driverside mount bracket (this is attached to the block w/ 3 bolts.

99-00 si rear tranny bracket

make sure you ask for an obd2a swap. if it's not available, you will need an obd2a vtec ecu.

you also need to wire vtec and knock sensor.

the obd 1 is much easier to make power out of b/c its easier to tune and so forthe.. but thats for anoter segment... if i was you and if u dont have to worry about emisions or anything i'de go obd1

he can only go obd1 if he uses an obd2a to obd1 jump harness. his car is obd2a, and an obd1 ecu will not plug in his car unless he uses a jump harness.
