B16a oil question

Default B16a oil question
My car was a quart low of oil and my Engine Check light came on...Shouldn't my oil light have came on?

jump the ecu and pull the code, tell us what it says.

a quart low wouldn't make the light come on.

Alright will do...maybe tommorrow if i have time ill run to Advance and use their scanner

you can run to autozone or do it yourself, use a paper clip or a small piece of wire and jump the green plug abouve the ecu and turn the key on.

btw i'm still rockin that ps2 thx

haha...i just think itll be easier using a scanner so i don't have to look up the codes...but will a scanner work with an obd1 engine?

well just got back from Advance and well i figured out that the scanner couldn't read off my computer...so where can i go from here?
