Default b16a redline?!

just a quick question on what redline your b16a engine pulls. Mine is at 9000rpm running from a wolf 3d system...

dont rev it to 9k. rev it no higher than about 8200. your power will start dropping off at about 76-7800 anyway.

i dont seem to loose power till after 8500rmp. Maybe its because my car uses larger injectors...?

no, it wont seem like youre losing much, but you are stressing the hell out of your valvesprings, and you will be faster if you shift at about 7800-8000. honestly, its more the intake manifold that holds you back than anything else. and i mean an intake manifold, not just a stock one. you wont keep making power over 8k without extensive work and/or ITBs.

That is a high *** rev. That's more then injectors! Thats compression! Stock b16a reaches max power at about 7800 rpm.

is that all you need is top end work to get into higher revs?

on a b16a, a set of valvesprings will put you safe at about 8500, but without big cams/compression/ and a good intake manifold, you wont be gaining much power.
