I still am awaiting a reason why the obd0 b16 is worse than the obd1-2 b16? I mean in all honesty I thinkall b16's suck but I mean i atleast think they all suck the same amount.

Sure they're the bottom of the barrel as far as B seriesDOHC VTEC engines are concerned, but they don't suck. Opinions are opinions though, I suppose.

I don't agree with yours as you don't agree with his, but I'm not opposed to you having the opinion.

I just dont see why people go bonkers over a 1.6 liter engine with next to no tq. I mean a B18B swap will cost so much less and actually perform as good if not better than a B16 swap. I know people with EM1's with bolt ons that run about mid 15's. That is a normal time. My buddy has a 94 Integra that is around 300lbs heavier than the civic, and he is by no means a little guy(225ish lbs) with nothing done to it but bolt ons and a aftermarket clutch and he is running high 14's at 96mph.

No, that's pathetic. EM1s should run mid 15s stock. I/H/E should net a decent driver high 14s.

Anywho, the b16 is an affordable engine which nets you 20-30 extra hp over that of any D series it's being swapped with. It still has potential.

It may not have the potential of a b18c, but those .2L of displacement don't make that much of a difference IMO.
