okay im planning to get a B18c for my new project, but instead of getting a bone stock japanese swap, i want to rebuild the engine myself..

anyways know offhand any sites/links with useful info on picking out proper cams and such for engines, also parts distributors with rebuild kits available.. only thing i have is this 3 year old summit sportcompact mag in front of me O.o

 

whats your budget for the build and the motor?

 

well from what ive noticed the swap itself is like ~3500 i just love tearing things apart, budgetwise i havent even decided, i know imports are a bit more pricey than domestics, at least from the little ive noticed, but was completely shocked at the lack of dealership/part dealers with aftermarket rebuild kits available of course this is definately a long term project for me but would be nice to be able to research some and plan out my plan of attack enginewise. ive always been under the impression that a "stock" engine can only be pushed so far.
