haha i might just got with the gsr now that i think about it

 

the K20 is 4k alone for the engine, plus the K20 is amazing for its N/A power. If you are just going to boost an engine dont waste money on the K20 as you can have a turbo D16 that walks away from N/A k20s. Yes the B18C or GSR engine is good to turbo with some low compression pistons and the engines high redline it will make for a great beast. The B16 engine is a little cheaper and and if going boost is just fine also.

 

i look more toward the b18c gsr.
i wont be able to boost it for a while 3k for a darn turbo kit.
as for right now i just want h/i/e

 

Ya its a nice little engine to drive stock. You can buy parts yourself for your own turbo kit and it will cost around $1,500 plus a tune

 

so between a boosted b18c gsr anda b20b with b18 vtec head what would you go with?

why don't you just get a d16z6 or d16y8 and build it up real nice and boost that
thats what i would do

 

with 4k you can easily boost the d and make more power than the b n/a. The K is out of the question because you're looking at 10k to buy and boost and put it in. (although SICK power can be made from a boosted K). The B has more long term potential if you were to boost it, but will not be nearly as fast as the boosted d right now.

Your choice on that info.

no, not necessarily, but you can get a lot more power for less money

What are you power goals?

Is it a daily driver only, or an autox/track car?
