so...a boosted D16 will make more power than a boosted B18C gsr?
No i was saying the boosted D will be faster than the N/A gsr for cheaper than the GSR swap.

Leave the d in there. Build and boost. You have the money for it if you spend it wisely. Hope you can hadle all that power when you get it

fully built N/A engines are soooo costly, N/A GSR fully built maybe 210-225whp and 5-6 grand later. A built B20vtec will give you like 10-15+ more tq then the same built GSR. Ya man just boost the D for 230whp thats no big deal there, wont cost that much. I just cant have a D series in my car, I love the look of 2 cam gears spinning

but will it stil be reliable?
my first decision or thought was to get a b18c gsr h.e.i and then later if i wanna boost it then i will.

but if my d series will be reliable ill keep it

Well any engine built right is going to be reliable so it all depends. Id get the GSR, its just a better base to work off of later on.

Just do a compression test on your d engine first, make sure it's healthy enough for boost. They can blow
