So vtec kicks in for like maybe 1000 rpm before it's time to shift...if you want the b20 to take advantage of the vtec head, your going to have to do some work to allow it to rev like the other b series motors do.
you can get a hondata ecu and program the vtec to kick in when ever you want to

Well you can get an Eagle crank and rods for $650 and Im sure thats all you need to redline the engine safely to 9k

ya that what i was thinking ands its a lot cheaper to get more power out of the power out of it since its a b20

anyways, how much would it cost me to do that and what would be the best thing? money is not an option.

go get a b20 go to ebay get a gsr head but all teh necessary thing bolt them on drop the motor and your good

if money is not an option then forgetthe B20/vtec and go with aK20A.
