i have a frankenstein JDM B20 (JDM B20 block with B16A3 head) and i dont think the Vtec was kicking in, any idea on if the vtec would work with the current computer (stock b16a3) or would i benifit on getting a aftermarket upgraded one, and what that would entail for a switch from OE to Aftermarket. thank you in advance

 

If you are running a B20vtec, I highly suggest getting the car tuned. Google for tuning info. and what you need for it.

You have a B20 bottom end, with a vtec (b16) head. That combination is called a B20vtec.
